Friend of the Tuxedo Chamber Donna Matthews of Tuxedo Union Free School District has joined forces with Jennifer Jones, and Chelsea Sahler to collect items necessary to help those who were hit hardest by Hurricane Sandy. The items will be delivered to individual families in Tuxedo, Greenwood Lake, Suffern, and the United Way in Toms River, NJ.

We here in Tuxedo know what it is like to get hit hard by a storm, as many of us are still recovering from the effects of Hurricane Irene last year. If you can spare items for the collection, please consider doing so.

Items most needed are: Water, blankets, gently used clothing, towels, diapers, non-perishable food items including individually wrapped snacks, peanut butter, jelly, crackers, tuna, juice boxes, CO2 detectors, multi port USB chargers, gift cards (food stores, Walmart, Target)

Please drop items off to: Tuxedo Town Hall, Tuxedo Union Free School District, Tuxedo Junction Inn, Little Buddies Preschool (Waterstone Road in Greenwood Lake), the Matthews residence (11 East Place in Tuxedo), and the Sahlers (31 Windermere Ave in Greenwood Lake). For pickup, please call 845.351.5717, 845.629.9944, or 845.699.4515.

The Tuxedo Chamber is very proud of how the Tuxedo community comes together in times of crisis. We appreciate any support that you can give to Mrs. Matthews as we look to help those in need.
