Placemaking for a Better Tuxedo

The Chamber of Commerce is working with several community groups, volunteers, and our local elected representatives to improve Tuxedo. Our goal is to make it a better place. 

We are in the conceptual stage right now, collecting ideas and building consensus within the community about what we should focus on. Ideas we are currently considering are: revitalizing our downtown business district, connecting our sub-communities in ways that don't involve automobiles, leveraging the resources that we do have in place, a complete overhaul of the Route 17 corridor, and ways to connect to the visitor and tourist populations, including those interested in hiking and the outdoors.
